Do you belive in sequel of DMC?

I really liked DMC and thought the fanbase was too rough on it. Granted, it didn't help that new Dante basically gave a "fuck you" to old Dante fans at the start of the game, but it was solid game overall. I don't see why we can't both running, with DMC acting as an alt-universe kinda thing which comes out between releases of the main series.

I really hope we do get a sequel but I doubt it :/.

Going back to the original series with the newly released 5 is evidence that the reboot was not successful and will not be continued.

Sadly, its not gonna happen.
It makes me happy to see DMC V taking some notes from DMC aswell as Bayonetta. Besides Capcom would have to outsource and they are doing too well on their own right now, to be trusting an outside team. Doubt Ninja Theory is up for it,since their relation with fans was always sour.
