Hello everyone,
You may or may not have seen me on Steamgifts. The last few months were very hectic and recently I've received some great news that it all paid off. It was a difficult journey filled with challenges, obstacles, and failures. However, I kept trying and I never gave up. In the end, things worked out great. Thus, I would like to celebrate this great accomplishment (more on that later) by having a small train.

Quick question about region restrictions. If I buy a game directly through Steam and gifted later to a winner, does it have a region restriction? If so how can I know in advance which games are region-restricted (I live in Canada)

Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend!

Are you going to check out the solar eclipse tomorrow?

Thank you I had a great weekend and I hope you did too.

I won't be watching the solar eclipse because I don't have the proper glasses. Also, my current location will only be a partial eclipse.

Glad to hear it!

Alas, I have a cold right now, so the weekend was not too fun (I also had to work).

I was informed a few hours ago that the eyewear I was going to use may not provide enough protection, so I may miss out on the eclipse (which would be full where I live).

I'm sorry to hear about your cold and I hope you get better soon.

I'm also sorry to hear about the eyewear not providing enough protection. If it's not too late and if the stock is still available, I found this Canadian website which offers free glasses at certain locations throughout Canada.

It actually appears that it was enough! However, I was supposed to wave my hand over the top to "activate" the dimming on the helmet, butt I didn't know I needed to, so when it was fully eclipsed, I did not see it properly. So I didn't see it fully, just after. My eyes were protected, so all was well.

I still saw it properly when it was fully covered except for a sliver, so that was neat. It was also cool how it got dark. But not as dark as it did in my dream that I had earlier. It was almost pitch black in that one! LOL!

And thank you for the sympathy with regards to my cold! :)

I'm happy to hear that you were able to experience it a little :)
Here it was mostly dark with a hint of yellow which was interesting
