1) You can send the gift to the winners email, or hand it to them through Steam trade window.
2) It depends, if you're contributing a game without (*) at the name, a.k.a not a bundle game, you get contribution, if you're contributing a bundle game, you get contribution until you hit 30$, then you need to make some real giveaways to get contribution from bundle games again.

If you have the game in your inventory you don't need the key, you are able to directly gift it to a steam friend or to a mail address.
