Hint 2: As alluded to in my comment to revilheart, I made a similar puzzle 5 months ago. Here's a link to that puzzle. You'll find reading it will greatly improve your chances solving this one. Especially since the solution to one of the problems here is written down in detail. After that is solved, GOTO HINT1.

I believe I've reached part 2 as well (have I?). No idea at first, but I'm playing around with it.

I used Firefox, and it's the latest version, but this PC is a bit older (it worked in Firefox on my laptop, same version). I'll try Chrome on PC, maybe it's some weird compatibility thing (also can't watch videos on a certain part of Vimeo in FF anymore, but works fine in Chrome)
Edit: yup, works fine in Chrome on my old PC, I guess it's just a weird Firefox thing. (and now I saw the intended thing almost immediately ^^)

Sounds like you've got more issues than this puzzle then. I used to have weird stuff going on in Firefox as well, vimeo was one of the sites I just couldn't watch any videos on, and I remember having problems on some videos on youtube as well. Some settings were at fault. A complete clean reinstall of it worked for me.
Good luck, agent!

Ok I came here through the other puzzle. This is kinda nice and I do know how to solve this, but don't have the time unfortunately right now. Not interested in the reward either. Is it ok to skip this and wait for the next puzzle? :O

You will have to solve at least parts of this to be able to follow on the first case that starts in 30 minutes (and lasts for 2 weeks). So there's really no rush to get it done now. The 5 games in the case might be of more interest, so feel free to hang on to your hat and graduate when you have more time. :)

You mean this here has many parts? I thought only one with the pic with the specific reward you mention here.

The pic, combined with the code given out is half the challenge. They lead to the entrance.
2nd half is more of a visual challenge, you don't have to decode anything, it's the easy bit. Noone's been stuck on that part. That part is also one that doesn't need to be solved to work on the new case, all you have to do it find it. I'm making it sound a lot more complicated than it actually is.

The first case has been released, The Case of the Secret Ruler.
Since you've found the entrance, you can follow along the story of it.

The first case has been released, The Case of the Secret Ruler.
Welcome agent aspirants.
You are all here today for your final test before joining the puzzle agency. As you may well know, finding hidden clues in the fine-print is an important aspect of your job as agents, which is also why it's so important to not just look at a piece of paper and read the symbols on it besdM, you also have to understand the meaning behind them. The world isn't always just black and white, sometimes what looks like one thing can be something else entirely.
Now, if I told you those 5 letters on that note are not to be altered in any way, would you believe me? I suppose not. That sort of thinking would not make you good agents. The problem is that it's true, the trick to this challenge is reading between the lines, not trying to convert those 5 letters to something else.
Once you've found the entrance to the agency, which we've gone old school with in celebrations of your graduatory mission, you'll find your final code. It all comes down to viewing the problem at the right angle. Go on now, don't be tardy. Find the code and solve the puzzle.
