Got it from ba2 tweet, but thanks anyway! This game seems great and i wanna try.

I think it became F2P because next season or episode is coming and it'll not be free.

To be extra sure that it worked, here are lots of license codes, the first one should be enough.

addlicense ASF 326160,318528,215997,215998,261725
!addlicense ASF 326160,318528,215997,215998,261725

Yeah, thing is, you can change that to anything. Me myself I keep it to nothing.
You can change it in the config/ASF.json
From

"CommandPrefix": "!",

to

"CommandPrefix": "",

I tried to change it in the config/ASF.json but nothing happened. How do you do it?

Did you restart ASF?

I did restart and even tried all the available subID but it didn't add +1

Like I said below. The game is free on demand license so it doesnt add +1 to library. But it should say on steampage that you own it. If you add the correct license.

I just thought this method should add +1 to my library as well as card drops. For those F2P games, I usually open Steam client and click on install, then the game will be shown as Complimentary in the licenses section. It's good to know another way, thanks :)

If you are unsure in the future on what license to use just check steamdb under packages.
You should look for no cost or free on demand. Free on demand doesnt add the game to library and can be removed from your licenses.

On this game you see that subid 318528 is the free on demand license. On this game beause its f2p you could also directly just use appid without even checking: 326160 Appid is visible on the steamstore game link.

Yup, thing is

addlicense ASF 326160
<0> ID: 326160 | Status: OK | Items: app/326160, sub/318528
<1> ID: 326160 | Status: OK | Items: app/326160, sub/318528
<2> ID: 326160 | Status: OK | Items: app/326160, sub/318528
...

The store game link did activate the Free on Demand license for me. So I just posted the one that I have tested.
Then I added the licenses Sh4dowKill posted.

You've got this posted under Deals, instead of under General, which indicates that this is a time-limited offer rather than a permanent change; Similarly, [Free] is exclusively used to reference time-limited offers. Are those arrangements intentional?
I can't find any official post on any recent change, myself, or any indication that the game actually has gone fully free-to-play (versus the shareware-esque free trial introduced back in December of last year), much less any indication of there being a limited-time offer involved.
I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm not actually quite sure what this thread is trying to tell us. :P

Fuck them.Its a miserable fail.
(Kickstarter backer here, so I have the right to be pissed tbh)

The game is/was dead. Free 2 play is their last effort to get this game going.

Usually F2P games drop cards only if you do ingame purchases and pay via Steam, unless you get a key from a reseller (like Heavy Metal Machines in Nuuvem).
I know two exception, The Descendant Episode 1 and forgot the second.

the second.

Grimm (episode 1). :)

There's been a lot of rumor in regards to how the publishers utilized a glitch in Steamworks to allow for that.

The three sale categories for games are:
Paid: Cards drop upon purchase of the base product
Free: Cards drop upon purchase of a DLC
Free-To-Play: 1 card drop per $9USD spent

I'm under the impression that the publisher has to configure a new app listing if they want to change a game's sale state [ie, just like how you can still get card drops for a free game if you activate a steam key for it, because the two activations are differently configured], so outside of the specific quirk mentioned above it theoretically shouldn't normally be possible to deviate from the preset card drop associations.
