Bundle groups really changed mine big time - was too easy to win stuff, and also some of the other groups that were invite only that kind of picked me up over time. I am too addicted to pressing the button when I have 300P!

Yeah, I like to even it out sometimes when I feel it's getting a little close, but that's just how I am. I spend a lot here, but many spend more. It's fun for me I think, and I am a full fledged hoarder now. I do enjoy giving games away, since I am not as able as I used to be to spread good joy to the direct physical world around me, so it's a good opportunity to try and throw some good out there for people.
Still I guess if you have spent enough, chances become easier, as level 9 has much less competition in general than level 1, for instance. I have won a lot of games some days, and I'll hit droughts, and then I'll try to give some games away to get the wins going again. Works sometimes! The bundle groups make it easier too, and some aren't too strict on the requirements. Being in a lot at once can be confusing though at times, since I have to remember which ones I contributed in each month, etc. depending on rules. I think I went from around 30 wins in my first 6 months to several hundred more over the next three months once I hit around level 5 and joined a few of the bundle groups. Was a huge jump though!
If you are interested, I just set up a lyme awareness thread last month too, and I add giveaways randomly there. Most people didn't check after the first wave, so the odds are pretty darn good usually. I've done a couple of trains with over 50+ giveaways so far, and will add a few here and there. Some generous donations from others too. All bundle stuff so far, but I haven't done huge trains because I am afraid of how many of my keys may not be good or have problems, since I always end up having a problem or two, even on the smaller 50ish trains. Anyway, if you want to have a look, it's worth checking from time to time and bumping - never know what giveaways will be up. I wouldn't stress too much about it, even though I guess there are some people do take that kind of thing pretty seriously... Maybe you are playing your wins, which is one thing that is taking me forever! That's always a good thing if so. I don't personally care much about either one (people playing my stuff or bad ratios). I do care if people do not read my descriptions if I add something there that is important to me, or that I want some sort of feedback on. That can be irritating, since it only takes a moment of their time to do so... Sometimes that helps just playing wins though, then letting people know I got to their game on the giveaway page, or if I get whitelisted and notice, I might return the favor, or somebody might do something showing good character, etc.
I don't really jump into a ton of discussions though, but yeah... more about doing what you can within your means. Have you tried checking out tremorgames or something like that? If you have many offers in your area, you can use the points to buy up some games that can be given out on steamgifts. Just an option I have considered, but I'm building my points on there for... I don't know what? For not much time depending on what's available, you can get a few steam games relatively quickly in some cases. I always check the giveaways tab as though I'm creating one, to make sure the title can be given away though, since there are some free ones that have been removed from giveaways...

Never had enough free time for things like tremorgames. Thou tbh never tried it as well . But from what i understand it requires time to do some tasks and stuff. Started farming cards recently thou so i guess ill be throwing few GAs here and there in near future :) have one puzzle in mind and also need to make something for my whitelist finally!

Yeah, it does take a bit of time to do things on there, but yeah, I might do one offer or something a day, mainly just videos - then I walk away a minute if it's just one long one, and get the x amount of points. Very small amount, but it adds up over time for me. Just a few videos is enough for a really low priced steam game (they're like.... 40something points for some of them, and recently bundled stuff is generally a lot lower, which is nice). Just signing in there gives a few coins a day, I think three or so, then the first offer is a few bonus points + whatever it would normally give. They have a few giveaways too here and there if you can amass enough points, then can enter them - most of them are free beyond just having the points. It does take a good bit of time though to get anywhere no matter what you do on there for points, but I haven't really explored much beyond achievement games and some videos. I got two 0 point games this week I think.
I think it'll be hard to find all my public 0 - 10's since I have given out so much stuff though. XD

Yeah, you can build up points and get any game on steam, but it's a little more expensive when you convert compared to other types of currencies on there. Around 800 points = a dollar game, so a $10 custom order is around 8000 points or so, but not exact. You can get gift card codes too, but yeah, it takes time. The 50 - 99 point bundle games are pretty easy to get though. Saving up for a really shiny game take a loong time, or lots of dedication, but I guess there are some ways to gain points, if one were dedicated enough to gaining points day in and day out.

One of the users that somewhat makes fun with the fact that a game gets removed from the list because it was free. because he has laying around like 10-20 keys for the game in question ^^
