I mean, I'm not excited. But that's mainly cause I never played Banjo Kazooie (dammit mom, never buying me new games....). BUT it does look pretty sweet and if they're using the same team, it could be pretty awesome

It looks like a good game but its too early for looking at for me. Kick starter is a waiting game and i hate waiting. i like playing :)

I don't like the cartoonish-look, I actually hate cartoonish look. If you add that I'm also not that fond of platformers you may understand why I'm not exited.
Also, I don't think any game could ever beat Trine 2 in terms of gameplay I like, when I played that one I was constantly like: «OMG love this», «OMG I want more», «another level please», etc.

Did a bit of research (since I never played Banjo Kazooie). In 1998 I was mostly playing Age of Empires and fighting games on arcade machines (kof95 mostly).

I didn't like Banjo-Kazooie much, but I love Donkey Kong Country, so... Yeah, I guess I'm kinda excited.

I'd give them $5300 to put my voice in the game but then I'd never be able to play it with audio on../shudder

I never played banjo kazooie. But personally, i'd prefer if we could get an actual banjo-kazooie game with the original characters. I'm not happy that they had to die with their latest game. That game was extremely insulting, and I mean literally. Just watch the opening scenes to that game and tell me they didn't stomp all over banjo kazooie and greatly offend Rare.
