And yes, here I go again* looking to start trouble with another random topic.

So we all have our favorite movie monsters. The ones we root for, the ones we all love to watch.

But, what if you could BE one of those monsters? Which would you want to be? Zombie? Vampire? Werewolf? Or maybe an amalgam of some (except vampire and werewolf as those have already been proven as incompatible with each other)?

Why not let us see what you would be and why?

And for your time, here's a small GA for you.

Oh, since we all know that human kind is the worst monster of all, it won't be allowed.

(* Sorry, I just could NOT resist.) :P

He is a dragon

Umm, nope, that's not a dragon. That's a dragon's spirit trapped inside the body of a melancholic man.

Flesh-eating, blood drinking gargoyle, with really great fashion sense, transfixing my victims into a defenseless trance-like state with my amazing collection of bling.

And hats.

Never forget the hats of doom.

The Alien
You get to look cool and be pretty difficult to kill. Also, definitely still intelligent. The triple mouth thing might suck though. And I'm not sure about the blood thing.

Traditional classic movie monsters... was thinking ghost at first, but that could get boring if you're only allowed to haunt one area. So...

Vampire.
Again, hard to kill, intelligent, and you can look kinda cool. The mouth thing would literally suck, this time... and I'm again also not sure about the blood thing. Plus flight.

The Thing from the movie The Thing.

It is a very strong, scary and powerful monster plus it can change into someone else and it adapts and learn all the time.

The Thing From Another World and The Thing From Another World: Climate of Fear, found them online at a site that lets you read comic online, and there is a historical spinoff comic: "The Thing - The Northman Nightmare". I found a version of it on youtube :D
Didn't even know about htme existing until seen some mentions under youtube videos that were praising the movie :)

I'ma follow you up with: Have you read the book? They released a new edition called Frozen Hell, which includes recently uncovered additional manuscript pages to the original story. Check it out if you haven't, it's a weird amalgamation of the Carpenter and Hawkes film we are so accustomed to.

I did read a book but that may have been the book format of the movie ( around 2014, +-2 years), and heard about the found extra recently, but forgot to go after it. Thanks for the reminder!

IRL something that kinda just wants to be left in peace, like dragons in some system, or idk. I would be a very bad monster, I like peace and books and knowledge. And cooking. :D

If we go a bit towards game-wise... absolutely the Thing from Carpenter's movie. As for now, I think it's the best movie monster ever - movie was great, concept is great! It's certainly a super powerful creature, but the mimicry thing makes it so interesting, and opens up the potential to sequels (a lot better than Alien allows, imo).

Neither have I, but I do own it for the same reason - I loved the movie... just not a horror game fan ;)

I'll have to try myself properly with horror games - older titles that aren't as jumpscare heavy can work really well for me. I adore horror as a genre, I'm just so, so jumpy when it comes to games that it's not even funny :D

I'm not particularly into movies with monsters, but, you know, there's this recurring cool guy in many movies, the Devil (Satan, Lucifer or whatever). I think I'd settle for a female version. My perfect Devil is De Niro's one from Angel Heart, BTW.

Ah. Thanks. I didn't really like the idea of being a monster, but on this theme, maybe I could be David Tennant's Crowley.
