Valve added "Funny" Button in reviews

I guess they finally decided to add some way to sort troll/funny reviews instead of deleting them

Thats cool, some games only deserve that thing.

Typical Bad Rats reviews:
"It's like Skyrim 10/10 but with Rats"

"OMG this game cured Ebola"

If they allow us to filter out the funny reviews that's a brilliant addition!

Guess it's about time, cannot count how many times I've read something like: "11/10 would uninstall again"

Now ppl gonna mark as "funny" even serious reviews, just for fun, like happened with the "Kawaii" tag that was appearing in all games, including Unity, Far Cry 4, Dark Souls II, etc, the tag after was replaced by "anime" or deleted I think.

Oh god... I had to doublecheck to see that this wasn't a trollpost... But... Just... Wow...

Reviews are supposed to be informative, not entertaining. -_-

I'm not sure what to think about this, hopefully like you said this will help filter them away, but on the other hand it just encourages people to make funny reviews (and I imagine people will still thumbs up funny reviews anyways)

I really dislike funny reviews, most of them aren't funny and wayyyyyy tooooooo many are the same "did something, some score/10, would <insert something> again" format

I really hope once a review reaches a certain "Funny" threshold, it gets removed...or at least placed UNDER the actual helpful reviews. Reviews are meant to educate buyers and help them make informed purchases, not like/rate up whoring.

It's offensive to see a review with no thought or effort put into it be on the front page at the very top, when someone who CLEARLY put way more effort into their review and ACTUALLY TALKS ABOUT THE GAME AND ITS FEATURES is pushed down by these "joke" reviews.

finally!, its time for me to shine.. not many people apreciate funny things when it comes to review.. i got some negative feedback because i'm too fun, and they need serious review.. go fuck yourself haters i'm fun deal with it

This is the strangest thing I've seen Valve do in a bit. I really am not sure what to make out of it outside of "what the hell". It's not April 1st. Is it a social experiment to see just how diverse peoples senses of humors really are? After all, the troll posts to the trolls themselves are funny. ;P

They also should add a characters/words threshold, like "Reviews need more than X number of words" or something like that. You're going to say "then idiots are going to copy paste", well, you can prevent that also.
