I heard that many gamers work out, is that true ??
If you do, how many times / week ?
Share your workout routine if you'd like to :)

For those who don't work out

It's not just getting in shape, but you'll feel better

...and I know that it's hard, but if it would be easy , everybody would do it.

Maybe tomorow...

Old classmate made me go jogging 3 months ago, at first i was like duh this is so not for me, now i am doing it 3 times a week and haven't skipped once.
Sometimes i do situps with weights, but i should do them more often.

When you get older, things aren't going all as smoothly as when you are younger and you need to stay fit.

That's good to hear , and yes that's true , we need to stay fit while we're young, because when we get old our body doesn't adapt that easy , that's why I think many older people find it hard to get in shape.

Aiming for seven times a week but it has been a bit difficult to keep up with other matters taking time. Not as good as it used to be but alright when taking into account how busy life has been.

I started to brisk walk near the end of August. But sleeping and some other problems I have in my life have stopped me from doing them.
As soon as I get that sorted, I will start brisk walking 6 times a week to improve my "awesome" condition. That I will do for the next 2 months or so.

I'm doing all this because I want to start running. I feel like running is an awesome sport for me, it's exactly what I need in my life.
More energy, more motivation to keep going even when life throws you a unfair curve or two. And you just feel better.

10 hours/week - that's excellent! For me it's about 4 hours/week right now, maybe 5-6 hours in the summers when I run (only 2.5 or 5 km each day, but at high tempo).

By the way, I see the humour in gifs 1-3, but am I missing something in the last one?

Yes, three times a week ;) Lost about 45 kg in 14 months and will keep this state. No workout, no chilling, no gaming. Being fat isn't fun at all ... I agree.

4 days a week.

Mon = Leg & Shoulders
Tues = Back & Biceps
Wed = Chest & Triceps
Fri = Full Body

40 mins light cardio before your first meal = M,T,W, F, Sa

5-6 meals (eat about every 3 hours)

I'd highly recommend prepping meals ahead of time OR else you're going to be spending a TON of time in the kitchen!

If you want to see results, remember that diet is 90%, while working out and supplements take care of the remaining 10%.

You won't see changes right away, but if you hang it there you won't be sorry!

Email me if you want to discuss workouts or meal plans further.

I don't know if I call it working out, but I ride my exercise bike for an hour a day. I aim for 7 days a week, but miss a day every once in a while, so probably more like 6 to 6.5 days a week on average.

I normally ride before breakfast. Riding is good for keeping my blood sugar down, and even though I hate it while I'm riding (bored out of my mind), it does make me feel better. Luckily, my schedule is lax and accommodate me being able to do this. I agree w/ the post above though - if goal is to lose weight, diet is so much more important. Low carb worked best for me to lose weight, but you pretty much have to eat at home all the time because it's very difficult to eat away from home and avoid carbs. I'm using a less restrictive low carb diet now to maintain.

3 to 4 times a week for 30 minutes. I also aim at 10k steps a day on the off days, if that's not reached then I roll with 15m of light workout in the evening.

Every day i use the stairs so i do a nice workout leg based and i try to lift weights at home(i mostly work standing still or going up and down ladders so i burn a lot of calories that way); and when i can i go to the park and play some volley, frisbee and after that do some extra workout (At least twice per month) :3 i love sports

I'm a gym rat D: I like to think of the gym as my 2nd home

I'm a morning person - so wake up maybe 5-6AM and work-out before class.
I usually run 4 miles (40ish minutes) and lift weights (30-40 minutes) and do some core work (10 minutes) everyday.

But then i also walk around my university campus to and from class and work and home .. so add another hour of walking up hills.

Nice! I've actually tried some of those, but with my schedule it's hard to keep a longer routine for more than three-four days a week. I always try to catch up the workouts I miss at other times, but that doesn't always work, and when I after 2-3 weeks realize that I'm 7-8 workouts behind schedule, I give up. Probably has to do with some light OCD, I don't like not being able to follow the schedule, leaving "holes". It would be nice to be able to follow a 6 day/week 1 hour/day routine for 3 months.

How long have you been at it?

Yeah, I'm a bit annoyed when I have to skip a workout as well, but I'd say they're still worth doing even if you have to skip some of them. I've personally been doing them for about 9 months now (I've done them for about 5-6 months about 2-3 years ago as well but then I took a rather long break).
