You probably won't get a coupon every month. Even if you somehow managed to get a $4 coupon every month it'd be $96 total. I think for people that stay unpaused a lot this is a good deal, but for people that are rarely interested in choice they should stick to month to month

You not always get a 4$ coupon. Sometime you get 2$ coupon, sometime no coupon.

I did this early this morning (Dec 4th). The coupon still worked for $99 and the banner said I'd get a free month if I purchased the gift before 12/04 9:59am PT.

Bought $99 annual gift subscription. Claimed that gift for myself, received 12 credits for my classic plan. Got an email today from Humble for a coupon for one free month. Bought one month premium Humble Choice, coupon was applied, cost was $0. Claimed that gift for myself and got the December 2020 Humble Choice. 12 months credit remaining. So 13 months of classic credits for $99.

Terms at bottom of email for $99 subscription were: "New subscribers or gifting only".

I bought this yesterday for $140.99 NZ, which was about $0.10NZ more than the market rate (according to Google) at the time.

The promotion link from the home page doesn't work for me, it just keeps loading. However, the Gift a subscription button from My Subscription page works and it says the 99$ coupon is applied, so it should be the same but with Humble I am never sure about anything.

After the help of support, the link started working fine for me. I was able to purchase an annual gift subscription with the discount and then redeemed it myself! I am still on my classic plan and my next billing date is now in 2022. The only thing missing is the one extra month advertised for gifting, but it could be because I redeemed the gift myself. Still a great deal for existing subscribers!

I guess that it is important to use the link in "Gift a year of Premium Choice for $99 and get one month of Choice FREE" promotion, as there seems to be a parallel promotion for new subscribers that will not work.

Its 99 dollars for games you will actually play[you can but RDR 2/Death Stranding/Control/Sekiro etc] or a lot more games that you may actually not play. I still havent decide what to do. 83 euro are a lot of money on the front especially with a huge backlog we have.

It changed a few hours ago for me. It's still a good deal but changing the price while the offer is still going is dumb and I am not going to buy it anymore.

Thank you. It really seemed too devious to downgrade accounts for accepting these gifts but they have been so coy about the terms so it's hard to know for sure. I guess they just wanted to keep people in doubt as far as it was possible. I, for one, would have appreciated an upfront offer of extending my subscription instead of this roundabout way.

I figured that was the case, but someone here kept telling me I'm wrong without any proof.. anyway I took advantage of the deal knowing that I probably wouldnt be able to get the free month, but I'm ok with that since $99 for classic is a good deal regardless

I am not sure why its fair to lose the extra month since the faq clearly says you can gift yourself if you want to, also nowhere is specified that if you are in an active classic plan you don't get the extra month. But what you can do?

That's annually, not monthly.
Maybe wait 6-7-8-9-10 months and then decide if you want to be charged for 1 more year.
