Last call: Keys for Music Maker Hip Hop / Music Maker EDM Edition / RPG Maker VX

I would like this if possible.
The concrete project would be hard to pinpoint, I am not settled on a software or projekt yet as I am thorn between Gamemaker 2 and Unity. But my younger brother (16) is also interested in making his own game and he specifically learns Unity.
As for ideas, my main aim is a game reminescent of Ace Attorney. Aside that, I thought of a retro-esque FPS that would be similar to Half Life. Another is an old PS style survival horror, akin to Silent Hill. And I would love to make an oldschool adventure game, similar to Syberia, The Longest Jounrey, and such classics, trying to bring whats called "sense of wonder" back into gaming.

I have been using the GMS from version 1.
Participated in some GMS 48h jams and created some small games
Life happened and GMS moved to the subscription model, but I would like to give it a good if possible.

It sounds eerily similar to my own game design story. I currently have several engines "sitting on a shelf",. The current hope is to get something going in Unity. Meanwhile family duties and slowly waning mental abilities have me wondering if I will ever produce my labor of love.

Not sure what you mean by that...
