Do you think Admin is doing an amazing job?
Or the moment your country blocks ads for you :-))

I already disabled adBlock a while ago. However, I still don't see ads because I have disabled the Adobe Flash plugin in my browser (it only runs when I choose to). I see the place where the ad should be displayed but it doesn't run automatically. I leave it like that, I'm not going to let Adobe Flash run automatically.

I try to do this on any site I visit daily. I feel like people might not realise how much content creators need this revenue. Consider disabling it on YouTube, or a site you play games on too!

Sorry, but no. Addblock stays on, no matter what website it is (because about 4-5 years ago I reached to the point from where onwards it is zero tolerance, when it comes to adds).

I had ADblock disabled on SG for a long time, but recently it started to try to redirect me to malicious site automatically... Idk if it's SG or ADs, but i ran every possible free malware scanner out there and didn't find the problem on my PC. Everything is fine when ADblock is on though.

(beware, it may restart your PC when it finishes scanning)

You would rather see websites you visit close down rather than doing your part? That's low.

Just letting ads through, which is what keeps most site alive.
I've never seen any spyware or malicious software distributed through ads, and I've visited some shady websites.

Yeah, there has been a few isolated cases And every modern browser has some level of protection for those rare events. As I said, I've been on the Internet for the last 20 years, and never encountered one.
The worst I've encountered on some shady sites is the occasional popup asking me to install some malware to "clean" my "infected" PC. (Not related to ads though.) And I'm not dumb enough to install these so-called scanners.
I don't see this very small possibility of a possible threat as a good enough reason to steal bandwidth from every site I visit.

It's off (even though ads were somehow slipping through before anyways).
The position of the ad is a little bit of a low blow though, placed specifically where it will get the most accidental clicks. I'm not going to block it at this point but if I rack up too many accidental clicks I'll probably turn it back on for awhile.

Most of us use AdBlock (or similar extensions) because ads are stupid and annoying. However, they generate revenue.
Since cg does not want to accept donations (which makes me love and respect him even more) let's at least disable adblock on this site. It is just one small banner anyway.
Running the site that we all love is not cheap and on top of that it is being constantly upgraded and improved.
If you don't mind please bump this post so other people would see it.
See screenshots below. Click "Don't run on pages on this domain" in AdBlock settings.
Edit: Screens show AdBlock in Google Chrome because it's a most common combination (I think). If you use a different browser or/and blocker just look through settings and you will find something similar. Don't forget to whitelist entire domain (steamgifts.com) and not just a single page.
