If you look at the games, I think calling it generous is being a bit generous... :) But it's some free cards or +1s for a few people, so that's better than a kick in the head anyway... :)

But really, just buy a lot of cheap garbage from those bulk key places like dailyindiegame or steamground or those Russian ones I can't use, or cheap bundles from otaku/gogo/whatever. If you buy enough you have leftovers and can make puzzles with the keys! Fun! :)

PUZZLE EXPLANATION, ETC.

I should write an explanation for the puzzle, but I'm so lazy it might be easier to link all the previous puzzles where I did the same exact thing... :)
The short answer is LOOK AT THE KEYS - there are messages hiding in them. First letter of the key, last letter of the key, that sort of thing. And yes, they are real Steam keys. I search my bundle leftovers for keys that have letters in the right position to spell whatever. It's easy if you buy a lot of crappy bundles...
First off, if you notice "It's getting to the point" and "Where I am no fun anymore" is the start of the Crosby, Stills & Nash song "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes", you could just guess the next line "I am sorry" without even looking at the keys. Wow, that was easy. :)
Otherwise, look at that first batch of keys again. The message is written there ten different times. If you didn't spot it, the next batch of "bonus non-puzzly keys" has FREE KEYS FOR BOTS EVERYONE LOVES BOTS on the left side, and HOORAY FOR THOSE AMAZING FARMING BOTS on the right side to (hopefully) catch your eye. Did it work? Eh, I dunno.
The 26 January edit has a different message. And since I was lazy, there's just one message along the left side, and each word is separated so you might catch a clue... Those keys spell umm, let me see... Paste paste...
Here is a blatant hint hiding in plain sight, inside a second helping of keys.
Will the spaces between words make things too simple, or has everyone already stopped trying?
By the way, for some reason Steam keys do not contain that letter between T and V in the English alphabet.
Google hexadecimal to ASCII "79 43 68 75 38" for one Latin example of the nonsense this restriction engenders.

Yes, there's no letter "U" in Steam keys. Weird, huh? Anyway, this makes writing messages in plain text a bit of a chore. Look at all the lines from that song I couldn't use, for one thing. By the way, "79 43 68 75 38" is "yChu8" - googling it may lead you to this. In that puzzle I got around the "no U" restriction by using a copy of Caesar's Commentaries on the Gallic War where all the "U" were written as "V". Clever or lazy, take your pick. :)
One other thing about Steam keys - the pairs
0andO,1andI, and5andSare treated by Steam as the same thing. So if you try to spell things with your own Steam keys, you can change them if necessary.
