I just logged into Origin to check what games are available and got a popup that says that Crysis 2 is 60% off for today only through the Application.

As always, USA only.

No worries, it isn't as good as the first two games (Crysis and Warhead).

And risk losing account? No thanks, there are better games than Crysis 2 anyway.

You won't lose your account by using it, stop being such a pansy and explore your options.

If it would be Dragon Age or SHIFT 2 then I would use VPN, but some mediocre FPS? Hell no. Besides, even if I use VPN they won't accept my credit card.

Keeps saying "Invalid promo code" for me even though I'm in USA. That sucks. :/

Thanks for the info anyway! Hopefully other people have better luck.

Are you using this promo code in the Origin software client or the Origin website? The code only works in the client.

I'm using it in the client. I'm trying to check with their chat support. Unfortunately someone named Zubair started helping me and then disappeared. Then I got a message I was now chatting with Mahendra. But now she's silent....

This is what I got from Mehendra... "Yes, I can understand. As I said, if the code is not working, I am not able to create a new code because there is not any such option. I can do one thing for you that provide you a 15% discount code for Origin."

So... Origin really needs to work on their support. Right now, they're in false advertising territory.

One thing to note is that according to the product pages, the promo codes have already expired (October 28 was the last day they were supposed to be valid until...this promotion has been running all week, not "today only").

Ah ok. That makes sense then. So their client hasn't been updated yet. Thanks.

No thanks. I'm waiting for what will inevitably happen. EA will come crawling back to Steam.
