It says around 83.92. I gave a game away yesterday, but it has yet to update.(it's been 22 hours now.) I synced my account as well to see if maybe that was the problem. Nope.

So is there any reason why this is happening?

It's a bundle game.

giving away bundled games will not give CV after a while until you give away more bundled games

The game you gave away was bundled. Read before you post.

Mmm. Well I bought it specifically off steam(defy gravity extended) I got it right off the steam store so..

As in it was never purchased through humble bundle.

if it was in a bundle at any time then it is considered bundled.

It might be dumb but it's in the F.A.Q. Maybe you should have read them before asking this question.

When choosing the game you want to giveaway in the 'making giveaway' option if there is an asterisc in the name, its considered Bundled

It was in bundle someday. You can see it while creating giveaway. If it has star * it was already in some bundle and its counted as bundle game.

That happened to almost everybody here at some point including me. It doesn´t matter if you bought it directly from steam or from a bundle.
If the game has EVER been among the basic 3 games of the humble bundle i.e. (those can be bought for 0,33 $ each since 1$ is the minimum to unlock humble games on steam) it will count as a bundle game.

Took me a moment to wrap my head around that as well but just because I bought something for more than 0,33 $ doesn´t change anything about it´s objective value which is 33 Cent.

Have a good one

Edit: It seems as you give away more NOT-bundled games the value (= difference between full and adjusted value) of the bundled games you have given away is slowly added to your CV depending on how many NOT-bundled games you give away. Is that impression right ?

Yes, that's correct.

Games from the bundled list count as non-bundled for the first $25 worth that are given away. Everything beyond that point gives 20% of the total value of your non-bundled giveaways, up to the full value of the bundled games.

That is the origin of the misunderstood "$30 CV Cap" for bundle games. The first $25 + 20% = $30.

Too sleepy to make recall correct numbers, but for around not-bundled $5 you'll get bundled $1.

So, if you gave games worth bundled $100, you need to give $500 non-bundled to get all of those $100.

More or less.
