Sell them before the third community choice vote of the day, if your team is going to win you can craft just a regular game's badge to be eligible for the wishlist giveaway.

Sell them. Selling 2 summer cards is enough to craft an entire full set of game cards.

There are millions of people on Steam.

Safe to assume that a couple of hundred thousand are on each team.

30 of those get games.

You have a better chance of being eaten by a shark riding a dinosaur and wearing sunglasses.

In other words: sell them (as Retardhead said just before their price starts to fall again.)

actually I think my odds are morely likely to win the steam lotto and the normal lottery than being eaten by a shark riding a dinosaur while wearing sun glasses

.. now that can't have anything to do sharks having issues riding a dinosaur or anything...

Sell them as early as possible. I imagine they'll be a huge rush to get rid of them on the last couple of days

Kind of missed the boat. I sold them the first day for 52 cents each. Hoping they fall to around 25 cents before I buy back my 20. Last day is super risky it could go one of two ways. So many people rushing to sell they hit rock bottom, or so many people REALLY want more levels and will buy at any price meaning the low end will be bought up so fast it will raise the price.

Sell ASAP. They keep dropping in prices all the time.

By just thinking how things like these work, it's very easy to tell when to sell and when to buy things.

The more people put these on sale, the more the price will drop. Act fast :)

Business teaches you very clearly that when more stock is introduced, the price drops. Every third community vote, the price will drop because Valve introduces like 10mil new cards or so into the market.

Why does anybody need a high steamlevel? What's that good for? Vote, get the cards, sell them ASAP and take the money

The higher level you are, the more chance you have to get booster pack, only reason I can see.

Exactly, but you need to spend thousands and thousands of dollars to get to the point where booster packs come to you every week or day, and that's when your steam account becomes a money making machine (only steam credits though, not very worth it)

On average, the cards lose 5 cents in value each day. There will be an uptick at the end of the sale, but by then the market will be so flooded with cards (resulting in the price falling so low) that the uptick won't restore the price to where it is right now. In past sales, card value fell to below 10 cents by the final day, with an uptick of less than 5 cents on the final day. The adventure "game" may kink those numbers a bit, particularly if the betting gets close. But overall, you don't want to save cards until much closer to the end if you're looking to nab the uptick profit.

Crafting badges is a long shot bet of nabbing a great item that sells for more than $20 (low possibility) or getting the score of free games (very low possibility). Like all longshot bets (or sucker bets), the payout for winning is much higher than it is for safe bets. But most people who take that bet will instead lose big.

I'm selling the cards the second I get them. I figure that their value is likely to keep sinking, and I can use that money to buy more cheap games. I've sold quite a few and its added a nice chunk to my Steam Wallet.

Don't wait till the very last day, I did that with winter ones and couldn't access my inventory to craft them. Still I recommend selling them for now and wait a little bit longer. I've made a good £2 off them now.

Sell them. Gets you more profit, and money to craft a 1pt badge for daily summer cards, you could craft a level 1 badge for fun though. On the last day it's probably 10cents? lol

Personally, I like to have the badges for limited-time events like this if I can get them, so I'd craft at least the level 1 badge. After that, you could sell the other cards you get and use the money to buy games or whatever instead.
