...in which there was this super cool site, that would scan your Steam library and recent activity, and then would suggest new games for you to play based on specific things. Do you want something simple that you can jump right into? Try THESE! Do you want something in-depth that will pull you in for longer? Try THOSE! Maybe you want some multiplayer fun? Check out this one! Do you want something to 100% in under 10 hours? This one is for you! It would even tell you things like "DLC's for that game you have already played for 10 hours are on a sale now! Check them out maybe?".

Yeah, really cool site, I'm tellin' ya. But it was just a dream...

Do you know any sites like this? How do you decide on what new games to play? Lately I've put a lot of work into my thesis and I missed gaming. It is almost done, so I now have some more spare time... but there is so much good games in my library, that I just don't know what to pick!

Welp... I guess I will go back to watching some random streams then...

It is a start, but not quite what I dreamt about. Kinda sad that you can only filter by the time played. It would be cool if you could filter games by genre, or things like "complexity" or achivements. Nevertheless, thank you very much!

I think it's too random. Even with the filters, most of the games it had shown me were "meh". I wouldn't consider them the most interesting out of my library. Sorry, I am too picky for that ;p Even steamadvisor looks better. Nevertheless, thank you very much, it was nice to check it out!

http://steampeek.hu - you can choose some games and/or Steam game tags and it recommends games based on these (example)

[EDIT] I guess I didn't understand the question that well - this one is for suggesting new games, not picking from your library

I still would have suggested steampeek.hu too, simply because it's doing the job of finding similar games quite a bit better than all other sites I know. Adding and excluding tags does wonders sometimes.
