ICY: Frostbite Edition (free upgrade from ICY) available 11-Aug

ICY: Frostbite Edition will be available on Steam on August 11th, 2017. It will be a free upgrade to owners of ICY.

The major changes from ICY (taken directly from the Store page):

  • A new combat system was developed: deeper, more exciting and more challenging than the original one.
  • The survival experience was overhauled in order to offer more variety.
  • A crafting system was introduced, allowing the player to create new items.
  • The original plot was improved and new quests and characters have been added to create a longer and more satisfying experience.
  • The UI was completely reworked to be clearer and better looking.

I've been holding off on playing ICY (received as a gift from an awesome SG member) because I heard some kind of remastered edition would become available. I'm looking forward to playing it finally!

Kinda cool they're giving the remastered version for free to owners of the original.

I agree.:)

I'm glad it got added as a separate Library entry, so I can try out both versions if I want to.:)

I think there are some games out there that overwrite the original version, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Just revisiting this thread because MORE people need to be playing this game.
And it's only $10 right now.

Really enjoying this one (though only about 5-6 hours into it so far).
