JohnXenoSmith's Blacklist 'Entry Removal' Discussion

I only blacklist people who ruin puzzles or are otherwise rude or disturbing in the forums. Even that rarely, as I avoid most of the trolly threads.

And now I'm blacklisted today for no absolute reason

I used to be pretty heavy with the blacklisting, but now I only blacklist people for not thanking me profusely when they enter my giveaway, having more wins than me, or posting something I disagree with.

I used to blacklist user based on ratio at the beginning. Several accounts made me change my mind 6-7 months later on SG. I stumbled upon some users with extremely bad ratio. 200+ won to only couple of gifts sent. During that time I had just found "Do you even play, bro" script. I was surprised to see that the user was playing considerable amount of the games won.
So that made me change my mindset, yeah there may be users who really don't have any money to spend their money at games and this site might be the only source to play games. So I then checked all blacklisted accounts again and rectified it if above was the case.
I now go for the combination of bad ratio with play stats.
The top badboy I have on my BL has almost 700 wins to 15-20 sent with ratio of 20:1 real CV.

I don't blacklist on ratio, never understood the entire ratio craze but I never keep up with the flavour of the month reason to hate people here any more.

I use my blacklist sparingly to stop people from winning games when I don't think they deserve them(usually through rudeness or being a terrible person). Each to their own though, overall I don't care about blacklists.

Really really bad statistics (extreme leecher), only region restricted GAs, Autojoiner/Boter (i BL lvl 10 -and lower level- people that use Autojoiners too... not from interest which GA's i miss from that step), don't give anything out since a year or above AND have a very bad ratio, don't have the basic manners to say thanks after winning a game from me and a few personal things like insulting me or be a complete a**hole

I don't blacklist for ratio. It's pointless (to me) on a site built around giving away games.

I've never blacklisted and never will blacklist anyone for ratio. In fact, I don't use my blacklist at all, because who cares who wins my giveaways, it's not like I'm giving away my child, it's just a game. I couldn't care less if someone won 1000000 games and never gave away anything. This is SteamGifts, not SteamTrades. The idea of "if I win something I gotta give something back" makes 0 sense for me.

Boohoo. 500 people who are on your blacklist can't take a chance at winning one of your crappy giveaways.

Get off your high horse. Blacklist anyone you want to, but keep quiet about it for Pete's sake.

Separating peoples by some criterion, it is looks some kind racist.
