People begging games with friend requests

The thing I don't understand if that, even if you have no money at all (say you are a minor with no credit card and yur parents won't let you buy anything online), you can easily buy game keys with TF2 items. I've seen many games (GOOD games, like Mark Of The Ninja or Batman Arkham Asylum) go for like 2 refs on Steamtrades. TF2 is free to play, and one ref is 18 weapons. Just play for a few weeks (less if you get a lucky drop or trade weapons) and voilà, the metal you need to buy a game.

That doesn't even look like begging to me. That's just demanding. Gross.

It happened once, funny thing is that he wasnt asking me for games, but for backgrounds, emoticons, coupons or to share my games through steam family sharing.

Yeah.. It happens once in a while for me. "Please gief games in ur inventory plz.. I have no moneyz" ...where I reply: "Wtf? Go beg your mom for money and buy your own games..."

I stopped regular trading and no longer accept random invites without a comment on my profile. Very effective at stopping beggars.

after reading all posts i came to the conlusion beggars are mostly stupid xD myself i'm poor but at least i dont beg for games skins cards or whatever thing those beggars should have a bit of shame on them
