Clearing the Backlog! ...almost 4000 games

Good luck. I've got to tackle my backlog too.

That's a nice way to stay motivated to tackle them. Yours is much larger a backlog than mine, so you'll have plenty of fodder for your channel! I appreciate when people post such plays because they're often the only info that comes up for smaller bundle games when you Google.

Youch. I felt this in my soul.

A couple years back, I went through my library, identified the games I almost definitely would never get around to playing and hid them. And I also hid games I'd finished and wouldn't be replaying. That brought my visible library down to what is currently not quite 700 games. Every so often I'll unhide a game I changed my mind about, but it definitely was a line in the sand moment overall and a comfortable way to restart without constantly staring down 7k games I should've never bought, accepted, or traded for.

I couldn't imagine handling a library that size because I already started forgetting games in mine. I bought like 4 games I already owned.

I can report, that after 4 months I have completed 29 games - yay me!
And at least tried out dozens more.
This "project" is working!
The biggest benefit is that it really gives me motivation to finish the game and not drop it at the first hurdle.
