Go to your profile, click badges, it will say how many card drops you have from each game, and how many left you can earn from the game

Does it matter for the games you don't have?

It matters enough to spam the steamgifts forums.

Lol? Really dude?

You ask a more than stupid question that could easily have been googled or read up in the FAQ of the trading card beta steam group but instead you decided to come here and spam the forums with yet another thread that adds to the pile of stupid threads like "why do I not have 1000 CV from my bundle games" or "how do get dota2" or my personal favorite "how do I get more cards" and you call me a troll?

If you are being serious than your behaviour is most pertubatory.

EDIT:
Have closed the dimensional rift and fixed the fluctuator, got the first GA code now, need to fight the databyte termites in the transdimensional string that shifts our universes to get the other one, will edit when done.

Half the cards rounded up.

Rule of thumb: you get about 60% of the available different cards of a game

Examples:
TF2: 9 total, you get 5
Don't Starve: 5 total, you get 3

Np. But keep in mind that you will get random cards, so worst case: you get 5 identical TF2 cards instead of 5 different TF2 cards

You get half rounded up, if it is an odd number you get the higher one.

I would say 59% (not 6 card when the set is 10).
Even better: 50% rounded up

Actually, your question made me think of another question.

Considering that you get 50% of cards playing a game.
And that you need twice as much as earn a level.
And you have 5 badge levels.

Does that mean that technicly you need 9 players to give up their cards for one player to collect a full badge?

Or are there other ways to gain extra cards I'm not aware of?

Only for Dota 2 and TF2 - spending money on the ingame store.

Otherwise yes, you are right.

Adding to your answer, $9 each card in Dota 2 and TF2
