Mafia 2 was the reason I even got on Steam in the first place. I had bought a DVD-ROM at Best Buy, not even knowing it required a Steam activation.

Fallout 1 & 2 was in an entirely different situation though. They switched publisher, and it was only away for a very short amount of time as the rights were being transferred.

Deadpool was a very rare case (I'm willing to bet the license was renewed due to the upcoming film). Generally when games disappear off Steam, they don't come back.

That or G2A. The grey market has relatively cheap keys from the 2K bundle. Just pick a seller with good reputation, preferably one where the Mafia 2 keys were marked as working.
