VAC enabled games cannot be stored, rest are by developer/company to enable or not

Yup, this is where the main difficulty lies :) Is it possible to check some value/flag for a game to know for sure if it can be stored or not? For example, Mount ^ Blade: Warband does not have VAC, but the develpeper disabled the opportunity to buy it into inventory to send later.

check the developer or company, if one game cannot be stored then every other game cannot be stored either, aka valve games.
edit: unless steamdb adds feature to check which games cannot be stored then u well have to make a list

It tells you when you try to buy it to your inventory, other then that, I don't think there really is a way to tell whether it's possible or not.

I was thinking that probably there is an extension like enchanted steam or some kind a service that provides you such functionality.
