in this case i guess it would be the best to contact support.
they can set your "received" status to "not received".
since you cant contact the gifter and allow them to delete the giveaway, this might be the only option.
Edit: it would be great if you had a screenshot of the message that popped up when it got revoked as proof for support.

Won it as well. This is the 2nd time in as many weeks a small indie dev decides to revoke keys to get back at a middle man. Steam really needs to put measures in place to force review before revoking activated keys. Devs that abuse this should be banned.

The developer is replacing keys of those who have receipts for their purchase. In your case, I'd email the developer a screenshot of your win, along with your comment in the won giveaway. It may or may not work, but it would only take a few minutes to try.
I don't see an email address anywhere, so you may have to add him on Steam to speak to him.

Won this game 2 years ago from some whitelist (I don't know who was giveaway creator since I'm not on his WL now).
Today I got a message that this game was revoked.
So now I have non-activated win and I can't do anything with that because I can't contact to giveaway creator.
