mafia 2 is awesome

Thought it was really generic. None of it felt cohesive. Felt like I was watching 4 different mob movies I've seen a dozen times at once, and all it made me want to do was watch them again. I mean, I appreciate what they went for, by not allowing as much freedom as many similar games, because they wanted to focus on the narrative. But the narrative isn't particlarly good.

1st game has a better story that feels like its' own thing rather than a greatest hits album. Though the driving is pretty annoying in it.

Mafia 1 kicks ass too :D

Seriously? I was very underwhelmed. The worst part about it is there's no free-roam after you complete the story.

This game was tremendously improved for me when I stopped thinking of it as a sandbox game and started thinking of it as a linear game that just gave me a choice of approaches.

As a linear third-person shooter, it's pretty good.

As a sandbox game, it's horribly empty.

Have you played Mafia 1? Its way better then the second one, in my opinion, the best PC game ever. Finished it like 20 times now...

The first one was and still is a great, great game.

mafia 2 is fail, nothing more

and storyline it just a compilation of Godfather + Good Fellows...

i enjoyed the game until it ended, then i was like wtf?

cause it came out of nowhere. seriously fucking horrible, cliched and rushed ending ruined what was otherwise an amazing game

Mafia 1 was a lot better. It was like watching a ganster movie, but I didn't feel the same while playing Mafia 2.

Good game but smt is missing.Not much is needed to be perfect.

Amazing game with great writing and hopefully, a direct sequel. Maybe Joe made himself "a part of the deal"(those we remember ending will know what I am talking about... probably)?

Don't forget to check your folder for the extras if you got the deluxe version. The Soundtrack is AMAZING!
