I don't even check, personally, but I'm curious as to whether you guys do!

edit: what ARE the grounds for re-roll for you if not this?

Uhh no, is this a real question?

Considering that isn't sufficient reason for a reroll, except in a small private or group giveaway with the Thanks rule confirmed by Support in advance, no I do not.

I never have, no. The winner is the winner. It's not my place to renege.

Nope. I re-roll if they weren't in the group anymore. Like this time when I tortured poor Kaitlyn

No. That's petty.

That would get you in trouble with the mods so no.

there needs to be a valid reason like if they ask you to or if they already have the game or something like that.

Hahaha! No :)

Occasionally I'll do giveaways with a condition upon which users who don't comment at all get re-rolled. This sort of rule, however, needs pre-approval from SG support, but enforcing mandatory thanks? Nah...

I don't expect people will thank me for a promise which I might not uphold that they might have a minuscule chance to win a small prize.

Rules like this must be approved by Support. I do have a rule that people have to comment, otherwise the giveaway will be re-rolled (Approved by Support). That might be petty, but the giveaway is made by me, so I don't care.

Also blacklists must be approved by support as well.

No. Actually, there always be some "Thanks, mate!" after you send a gift directly to a winner .)

Nope, I got a winner that said, "ok" and deleted me. Yeah.

I had one winner who didn't say a word when I sent the game, he kept me in his friends list though.

I got a winner that ignored my friend request and didn't say a shit. I made the mistake of sending him the gift through email.

Also I got another one that urged me to give him the game right after the giveaway ended, and only said "ty" in the whole conversation when I gave it to him.

I gave Sonic 3 and Knuckles to a guy who had said he'd never played a Sonic Game, and he was extremely excited and thankful.

...Of course, he didn't win a giveaway. When someone wins a giveaway, that excitement probably disappears, because now they feel ENTITLED to have the game

Nope. But every single one of my giveaways has been through Steam (regardless of whether it's a code or a Steam gift), and prety much all of them thanked me.

While I have now got into the habit of regularly thanking the person for contributing, I still thinks it's way too far to re-roll if somebody doesn't post a quick comment. They'll usually/always thank you in the end anyway, so it's not too much of a hassle IMO.

Good lord I'd have a lot of rerolls even though they're all goons. I get 3 or 4 people who always thank but mostly I just ask odd questions or requests and get odd answers :D

Rules aren't for public giveaways (and less so ridiculous ones). And nope, neither on my private giveaways.

I say thank you when i receive the gift, not for the giveaway itself every time (cba to do so) i'm mostly very ecstatic when i win a gift, since i only join giveaways for games i really do want.

For my giveaways i don't require people to say "thank you for the giveaway" but i require them to say thank you on receiving the gift, i think it's very very very rude to not say thank you after receiving a gift.

if I put the rule into private GA that one must comment to enter and he did not comment - yes I will ask a reroll.

other reasons for reroll? user owns a game, leaked private GA, puzzle cheating and not activating games previously won on SG. Once I also had winner requesting a reroll due to group specific rules (he would get into bad ratio).

They very often say thank you after winning. That's enough.

Title should read, "Are you a flaming douche nozzle?"

Thanks are always greatly appreciated. But, pandering for them is just sad -_-
