They might have been banned for misbehaving, indeed. Some weren't exactly on their best behavior. So that might actually had been the Steam moderation team that gave the bans. Sadly, you can't make the difference.

And some threads did went offtopic, so that might be the reason why some posts were deleted.

P.S.: for me, personally, the subject is closed. I will just avoid their games and that's it.

if you are from Germany ... sexual content is banned in this country

Just to make sure, sexual content is not banned in Germany. Hell, we are one of the most liberal countries when it comes to sexual content. Tiddies on the TV at 8am? Absolutely. Go for it.

Germany just tries to keep pornography away from minors, what is the absolute right thing to do. (Side note: Germans differentiate between nudity and pornography when it comes to what is accessible for minors. Nudity is fine, pornography is not).

So everything that includes pornography is only to be sold to persons age 18 and above. The german government asked Valve to make all porn games only available to persons age 18 and above to comply with german law. Valve could have implemented a working age verification system and, huzzah, gangbangs and bukkake games would be fine on the german Steam site.
But, alas, Valve decided against implementing a working age verification system and went nuclear: restricting access to any porn or even sex game for customers in Germany.

This was not - I repeat - NOT what the german government asked Valve to do. It only wanted Valve to make sure that a minor could not buy a porn game suitable only for persons age 18 and above. Valve on the other hand couldn't bother to put effort into it.

i was just going off what they said in their post.

if you go to the agony unrated store page there are two different bundles. one titled unrated update and the other is agony unrated update. they both contain the same games - agony and agony unrated. unfortunately, the steam store still says i own unrated, even though i don't anymore. because of that, it won't let me buy the bundles or even see what the discount actually is. perhaps the first one is 95% and the second one is the fix at 99%?
