I recently started playing NS2 again. Although I've logged 149 hours according to Steam and 56 according to the Hive stats, I am still very much a rookie. Still, despite the difficult gameplay and steep learning curve, I keep coming back for the amazing community, the teamwork, and the communication. I'm always down to have someone join me in-game since I can't seem to convince my friends to play with me. And while I might not be good at the game, I can certainly explain the simple things to a new player (and eventually watch them become better than me :D). I'm also open to being taught tips and tricks by more experience players.

I don't have any of those unfortunately, but if there were a surge of players, I'd consider getting UT III (or the Black Edition). :) I haven't played UT since the early 2000s when I first got it on PC from Electronic Boutique (former GameStop). :P

well based on responses there is enough interest to warrant me setting up an event, I just need to figure out a good time for me to host a few events, will post more when I have something concrete set up.

Modes are Capital Conquest (trying to destroy each other bases), Domination (capturing control points), Deathmatch and Mission Co-Op (i think this one allows 3 players max)

is it sort of like RTS tower defense? if so that sounds pretty cool, if it's story independent (i.e. it won't ruin the warhammer series if I play it out of line) then I may have to hit you up for some of that :hee:

it's like a hero survival/siege mod (like many warcraft 3 custom maps), you gain xp for each hero and can upgrade their wargear between matches. > gameplay
it's set apart from the warhammer world (eldar, tyranid and space marines working together! <3 )

although the game is listed as "Co-op" on the store page, it's only for some survival mode :(
xarabas and I were going to play it and then found this out, so I just went and played it single player (still a decent action adventure game), the survival/multiplayer however is completely dead and no one is playing it at all

So, I've noticed that quite a few multiplayer / co-op games on Steam are either dead or filled only with people who play the game a lot and are pros. Not all of the games below fit the above description, but most do, and I was wondering if there would be interest in playing any of these titles in general. If so I'd like to set something up and try to spread the word on the respective game discussions and post to a few co-op groups (such as Co-optimus) for even more players to come join.
