Short answer (for us, anyway) is to say "read the FAQ." :)

But it's a giveaway site. For example, I buy a bundle but already own one of the games, so I have a key I don't need. I make a giveaway for it here. When the giveaway ends, a winner is chosen at random by the steamgifts website. I see who won the giveaway, and email the key to them. Fun!

So there's no magic power that gives you the game, you can't "create a giveaway" to get a copy of something you want. Every giveaway represents a steam game someone bought, and is giving away. Maybe it's a gift copy in their inventory, or a key, maybe a gift url from a humble bundle. Good luck! :)

TL;DR You do not earn the games because you press on the button enter, you must be the winner from about an average 500 Entries. So you are not 100% entitled to get a game, more like 1 in ??? entries

Have you made a blood sacrifice to lord CG? That is the only way to win a game.
