best D-Day movie.

no giveaway here so i guess this wont get much attention but, just pick the best movie. i seriously dont expect the superior movie to win but having said that a lot of you wont have heard of one of them, have at it and lets hope reality wins over hollywood shite.

watch it, best war movie ever made. be warned its black and white and features facts, according to the allies?, so it may not be to everybodys taste.

Both great movies but The Longest Day wins because of that star-studded cast.
If you haven't seen it watch it.
If you have watch it again ;)

Impressive movie about the preparation and the attack by the Japanese on Pearl Harbor.

One of the scenes where the pilot of a damaged airplane deliberately crashes his plane on a hangar would later in the war be used as a weapon against allied landings and ships, the kamikaze.

Like both, but voted The longest Day, watched that movie quite a while before SPR got on the screen.
If you like older ww2 movies, Sink the Bismarck could be interresting.
The movie From here to Eternity may be a bit too much drama/romantic for war movie fans even though it revolves around Pear Harbour
