Is it worth?

If you notice the blue button at the bottom that says "Resume Membership", I assume OP had paused their subscription and Humble sent them this to try and lure them back. I've gotten multiple offers like this from them before myself when I've paused a month. In fact, about 90% of the time when I pause a month, they offer me a $4 off coupon to stay...at this point, I always pause first, even if I intend to buy the bundle, because I can almost always get it for $8 instead of $12, and if they don't give me the coupon, I can just unpause right away.

I paused, and genuinely had no intention of buying the bundle. They sent me $8 one first for May that I ignored, then a €5 per month for 2 months. I jumped on that because the one game I was interested in has been more than €5 on sale.
I don't pause much, usually there are 2 games or more that I will try. I think if you pause every time, you won't get the coupons. In your case, you unsubbed, so they try to win you back. LOL!

I skipped probably 10 months out of 12 last year, and while I didn't keep track of how often I got the $4 off coupons, I'd say it was at least 8 times. I paused this month as well, and got the coupon offered.

considering this month's content, not so worth it to me..

I used this coupon earlier. I didn't really want most of what choice had to offer but 2 games were enough interest for the 6 dollars to be worth it. Hope next month has something decent for the other 6.

It's why this is only worth it, if you really want this month as well, otherwise, it's best to not take the deal and wait for a $8 one for the next one (if you are interested in that one).
It might seem this is cheaper, but it's actually cheaper to sink $8 for something you want, than $12 for something you don't and something you don't even know.

Yes I used it today. My plan was cancelled from December and I claimed it without problems.
just click on Resume button from mail, then it will move you on humblebundle page and there just normally continue to buy that month (it will give you discount).

I also have this... Maybe i use it, it's just 6$. Note that offer ends on 31 May: Coupon expires May 31, 2022 at 9:59am PT.

Got this offer as well. Thinking is it really worth it to buy current bundle. Couple games interest me a bit, kinda have enough city builders as it is. Would like for them to rather increase bundle's quality. Still have time to think and decide. Might use it.
Also, don't want to support Origin key bundles.

I first got a $8 coupon, didn't bother with that.
And the they send me this $6 coupon which was tempting, and I almost relented, buuut if I do that I would also be re-billed for a full new period and with the decline in value of this gig in general...very much on the fence if I want to do that.
Since I already have the C&C remaster, only Planet Zoo and Surviving The Aftermath was of real interest.
Hum...
Nah, gonna ignore it, if I knew for sure next month would be worth it, maybe.
Nice of Humble to finally send me some coupon though, seen few of those in the past.

I got the coupon and resumed my membership and they charged me $11.99 anyway???
I even double checked earlier today in settings and it said my next billing date would be today for $6.
Anyone else had this happen to them too?
EDIT: read the fineprint and says New Members only... still doesn't explain why it was showing as $6 for my next bill right after when I checked... this month is definitely not worth full price for me especially with an Origin game, will open a ticket for refund....

That must be an error, I was billed the 5€ and my coupon also said New Members only

In my email is "New members only" too, and I am not new member :-)
And I was charged 5 euro only.
Do not forget, that amount is 12 dollars with 6dollars discount, so maybe there you saw 12 dollars....
Check your bank account, you should be charged only 5euro or 6dollars.
If you were charged more, then write to HB support.

I was also billed the full amount, even though it said my next billing would be for 5 euros. I also opened a ticket but haven't received any response yet.
Besides, the wording of the coupon is very dubious. It speaks of " reactivate your member perks, and more!" and " resume membership", but then says " new members only"...

Hi, It's a better circus for me, I got a coupon 2 months for $ 8, I couldn't activate it, I wrote to the support in the meantime I got a coupon for 2 months for $ 6 and activated this coupon and it was shown in the coupons tab. On May 31st, an email came from support, Alex "moron" is glad that he activated my $ 8 coupon for 2 months. I was 8$ charged. Moron ruin my day :) Besided i don't have time and energy to communicat with support like this.

If the message says "reactivate" or "resume"... then whatever the fine print says it cannot take precedence over the headline which clearly shows that this is an existing customer. Humble will hopefully "make it right" by adjusting the bill to the correct $6. If not, they would have to refund.
I bet that Humble will regret what has happened this month as they are likely to lose customers to cancellation for this.

Has anyone received a response from HB support yet? I'm still waiting but might just open a paypal dispute if they won't bother answering for another day.

Update: HB has just sent out a mail to people who got billed the full amount. Those people will get the June monthly for free.

In all honesty, this is all but nice of them.
In this case, the issue was entirely Humble Bundle's fault and the customers who were charged the wrong amount should be partially refunded. This will help make things right, as they said.
If they hadn't charged $12 upfront, one could still skip the second month and void the next $6 coupon. Now they're basically making sure that those who agreed to the deal are not backing out after the first month.

Agreed. At the same time it's kind of... scary that they feel that their $12 bundle is so much worth only $6 universally, that they hand out free months for people who bought at full price. Like not even they believe it's worth $12. ( Thought I hope it's more about them believing that everyone should get the same discount. Though I bought it for $8, so it's not like the want to get the $6 deal for everyone )

well now to wait for another 4$/month(one can hope)

Got a reply from support. They offer a free month of Choice coupon for june. The discount value is the same, 1 month for free instead of $12 or two months for $6 each, total of $12. I'm in with this offer. Let's hope the choice will not be garbage.
