Recently I made a giveaway, and after it ended I learnt this giveaway was against the rules.
Support hasn't responded yet to my ticket to remove the giveaway.
They have however responded very quickly to another ticket I posted a little later, regarding a winner who didn't accept my gift.
So how long until they generally respond to such ticket?

popcorn gif - where did I put that popcorn gif :) - but seriously though - it depends on what is required, as some things need full moderators, rather than just support, to enact them

Some weeks ago I also waited some days for a response after my question about a giveaway. The guy who responded then said he was currently the only one solving cases like that, so I guess there is just a lack of time at the moment. I mean, it's holiday time, not all people are hanging around in the internet their full day. :p

But ironically, that second ticket got answered by 2 support members. This one by none.

each support member can handle some cases
all of them can approve rerolls.
only a few can approve GA delete. and so on.

support is based on volunteer work on this site. so it takes time. and we don't push it.
wait

have you read the FAQ

as for the free GA. it will get deleted anyway once support have time for that. you aren't the first nor the last who try.
it will get deleted and the CV lost (if any)

They are only people, you know? Well one of them is a (very fat) cat. On top of that SG is a bit short staffed. So yah, it might look sucky when you have a problem, but please have some patience. Sucks to have a forgetfull or unaware or ungratefull winner, hope youll solve it soon.
