does someone else has problems to run it? jus wanted to kill a sim but it crashes at startup, seem to be a problem almost to everybody but can't find a solution

That's how to force-close a program. He doesn't want to know how to force-close the program. He wants to know how to open the game without it crashing.
Perhaps you should actually read the question before you start making transparent excuses to taunt/insult the poster.

actually i find a solution after look for a lot of different configs, and it was the easyest one. it seems that the first time when you open the game you have to wait like 15 minutes or so, because the game copies a lot of files to my docs folder, if you try to minimize or something automaticly crashes, you just have to wait until it start. then just work like a charm, i already kill a few sims :) Also for the screen resolution issue you have to manually edit the Graphic Ruler file in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\Fun with Pets\SP9\TSData\Res\Config" hope it helps someone.

I get black squares on playable characters and I see graphical glitches. I think this is related to the graphics card selection. :(

That's cool of them.
Though they're still just going to feed you the same expansion packs again in Sims 4, so it does take the shine off the gesture. Are they even pretending to have forgotten to add weather/seasons/elevators/modular staircases/pets/vacations any more?
