I just did a friend request via steam. I didn't think of that earlier, only because I didn't see "contact info" here on SG and I didn't think about doing it through Steam.
Did we used to have an e-mail contact option?

Just had a look, and this game isn't even available on Steam anymore (I suspect it's been removed by Valve themselves), so it may be possible all keys for the game have been revoked also. The person who did the giveaway has three other games with the same "key already activated" issue by the looks of it, so I would guess you're unlikely to see any resolution in your favour.

I just wanted to make sure I was doing what I was supposed to be doing so that I wouldn't be marked/penalized for not activating.

So, I won a giveaway but the key doesn't work -- the FAQ says to contact the giveaway maker, but as far as I can tell, there is no way to directly message/e-mail anyone through the Steamgifts site. I left a message in the giveaway noting the issue, and I marked the code as not received, but the Help FAQ mentions "contacting by e-mail."
I don't see anyone to get someone's e-mail address/contact info on Steamgifts. Am I missing something?
