Do you think we are gonna lose Net Neutrality?
I'm thinking, ideally, the value of your shares will even out with the cost of your ISP service depending how far telecom businesses will nickel and dime customers.

From everything I saw posted about it I was very surprised that when it went away I was informed my internet speeds would be going up as a result. For reference, I pay for about 130Mbps, and now have this during peak hours~ https://gyazo.com/17fc476d6d9d53ac0550c5571495d772
Not entirely sure how that works. But hey at least we're one step closer to being at least on-par with Romania in terms of internet speed.

"net neutrality" in a nutshell: Google + Netflix get to consume over 50% of the whole internet traffic in North America while paying way less than 50% of all the money paid by everyone who puts stuff online. That's why huge internet quasi-monopolies support it.
Free software advocates and the like support it more for the ideology (no traffic discrimination) than for objective / practical reasons. No traffic discrimination is a nice idea indeed, which I used to support. But the actual result is Google and a few other multi-billion companies reap all the benefits, so no thanks after all

Just saying, the mainstream propaganda is horribly one-sided on that net neutrality argument. It's like, "The Evil Capitalistic ISPs Against the Kind Non-Profit World". Things are not that simple.
