The truth is that cg looked into the future and saw that you were going to win every single giveaway you were in at the time. Every last one. No exceptions.

This massive concordance of luck would have destabilized Steamgifts, so for the sake of the future, he had to reset all your giveaways (and everyone else's, too, because otherwise it would be too obvious.)
