I get this often. purchase through a browser instead of steam application. it'll work then.

same here i wrote so support so if I don't get to buy the games for the summer sale price i will never buy a game on steam again -.-
I even tried VISA and Mastercard for 6hours!

Got this problem a couple months ago but I don't remember how I got rid of it :| I guess it wore off after couple of hours

But if I don't and after I log in to Paypal to pay for a game then I get "An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed. Please contact Steam Support."

I exited steam and restart. I also signed in on my tablet pc - fixed

It happened to me yesterday too in both browser and client, but when I tried today it worked.

This is pathetic. Cant add funds to my wallet for about 12h

Best advise: Ask Steam support..they may better help you than a bunch of forum ppl. :)
