Enjoyed this film very much

Saw this movie yesterday: Adjustment Bureau, looked like a cliche romance from the trailer but ended up being really good.

Sennentuntschi: Curse Of The Alps (2010) - Pretty decent crime/thriller movie from Switzerland. Nothing really special though. 6/10
The Acid House (1998) - Three novels about drugs and messed up lives of lower classes. It's not really good, most of the time you just watch messed up behaviors of people. The last story had a few funny scenes but that's about it. 3/10
Three Lives And Only One Death (1996) - French surreal cinema. Very good movie for fans of puzzles, thinking and Lynch. Recommended. 8/10
Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014) - Possibly the best movie based on comic books since The Dark Knight. It's perfect in every aspect. A must see for everyone. 10/10
The Voices (2014) - Dark comedy about a guy who suffers from schizophrenia. He accidentally kills his colleague and has to deal with the consequences while his pets, cat and dog, talk to him and mess with his head. Very good movie, I was expecting something worse to be honest. 8/10
The Holcroft Covenant (1985) - Very good British crime movie starring Michael Caine. I don't understand the low score to be honest. 8/10

Hotel Transylvania 2. Ten times better than the first and the cutest love letter to classic movie monsters I've ever seen.

Black Swarm, on YouTube last night. I love horror movies, even/especially the b-z movie grade ones, but this... well, I've seen worse, but I've seen so much better too. ;) If you switch your brain off, you'll probably have a good time. or at least, you're not going to ZZzzzz

Crimson Peak, last night for Halloween.
Not bad. Del Toro is definitely the master of stylish horror. The movie seemed aimed at the typical shallowness of USA audiences though instead of being something with more depth like Pan's Labyrinth.

Sex, Lies, And Videotape (1989) - Good psychological drama about sex, lies and well, videotapes. 7/10
RocknRolla (2008) - Great crime/action movie directed by Guy Ritchie. Recommended. 9/10
Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014) - Good action movie for teenagers but that's about it. 7/10
Dreamcatcher (2003) - Very good flick about supernatural and aliens. It also reminded me of Cabin Fever during some scenes. I really don't understand the low score to be honest. It was very good for what it was. 8/10
Manhattan (1979) - Directed by Woody Allen. It's drama/comedy and it's good but not as great as people make it out to be. Only for the hardcore Allen fans to be honest. 7/10
Bananas (1971) - Another Woody Allen movie. This one is good as well, hilarious at times. Sadly, it has a few scenes that are completely un-funny as well plus it has two scenes which mock christian faith which is something I didn't like. Still, a good movie 7/10

The live action movie of Assassination Classroom. Crazy and yet the protagonist/antagonist focal character is so very strangely charismatic. Now I just have to wait for the manga to wrap up before I can grab it for my tablet, so I have something to read while I use my awful no-resistance exercise bike thing. \:3/

Nice movies, both movies are fresh.

The Last Stand
Pretty good action movie, with the feel of a '90s Schwazenegger movie, but with enough going on to not really notice Arnold himself doesn't get that many big action moments.
Not skimping out on actors for the supporting cast helps a lot with that too, as well as having a few nice twists in some of the sub-plots. As for the main plot - the big twist there is that there aren't any plot twists.

The only problem with the movie and many other action movies that came around 2013/2014, Sylvester Stallone (Bullet to the Head) or even The Expendables 2/3 , Nolan's Dark Knight rises, they all lack a good villain

I forgotten most of the movie but...
Talia was the villain, right? all his motivations, plans, story were all actually Talia
Bane himself is just there to provide a good fight against batman

I don't remember to be honest but Bane was made out to be the main villain in all the trailers and he was basically there throughout the whole movie. So even if Talia was behind all this I consider Bane the main enemy of Batman in this movie.

I found the villain in The Last Stand to be pretty cool in this one.
I mean, we're talking about a quite powerful drug lord who must have been plotting his escape and setting up a pretty big network of resources to make that work, and who when push comes to shove is perfectly willing and capable to get his own hands dirty.
(and also, who may or may not have been directly involved with the hero sheriff's past - that bit is intentionally left ambiguous)
He's just not big on typical over-the-top villain speeches/rants.
(If you want one of those, see the T-3000 in Terminator Genesys instead ;) )

Seen it the year it came out, great movie, has a simple but effective twist in the genre, where the victim becomes the aggressor for the majority of the movie
As wrong as it might be there something really karmic about it

Also seen it :P
I used to watch a lot of movies.
That one is one of my favorites, something about it gives me Tarantino vibes

Stand by Me Doraemon (Link to trailer. Warning: Major spoilers. Thanks, Japanese trailer editors.)
One of the best Japanese CGI movies (and retelling of an awesome manga/anime) I have ever seen. 10/10

Here we go, I'll start.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10
