Cartel Land
An absolutely spectacular documentary about resistance to Mexican cartels in 2013, and the fringe American movement to patrol the borders with volunteer militia.

I last watched The Martian... before that, I watched Elysium, which also stars Matt Damon. Both were pretty good.

Jumper
Idea behind it was decent enough, but it turned out to be extremely dull, predictable and poorly acted (apart from Samuel Jackson) for roughly the first half. So I didn't finish it.

I saw this..
It wasn't even that bad, if you take it for what it was.

Mad Max Fury Road
What a pleasant surprise it was, I really enjoyed it - my wife hated it though.

It was either The Hateful Eight or Primal Fear. 9/10 to each. Well-written movies with some surprising twists.

13 Sins
Its always the best concepts that end up totally ruined. Just like unfriended its just so badly executed it becomes laughable and cringe worthy
Even the tag line is unnecessary atrocious, "you dont play the game, the game plays you"...actually now that i think about it, its totally my fault i didnt enjoyed it...Thats a Meme slogan right there, what was i expecting? Freakn Apocalypse Now?
This is just so depressing and so frustrating in so many ways, Why...isnt...the stupid tagline "what would you do for X(amount) of money" , i mean Cmon!
1 for concept + 1 for Ron Perlman
2/10

Where there is life, the is hope
Cute flick about never doubting yourself, each person is a well of endless possibilities, no matter how damaged one might be or how insecure one has become, dreams are never completely out of reach.
Great cast too, they all gave a very believable performance.
Not really sure about the music/dance end credits, i guess thats the state of mind they where while making the movie...it just takes me by surprise every time that happens (Slumdog Millionaire, Zatôichi...), i really dislike that.
7/10

If you know who Neil Hamburger is, then you have my respect. If you don't, well, I'm not surprised. Anti/meta-comedy isn't most people's cup of tea.Someone apparently decided he was worth making a movie about, and thus Entertainment was produced.Although it's not explicitly about the meta-comedian (real name Gregg Turkington) it examines with intensely misanthropic realism the banality of American pop culture.I don't mean taking down easy targets like The Kardashians or So you Think you can____ but the very nature of it laid bare. It's confrontational and uncomfortable. I fucking loved it.

Here we go, I'll start.
Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark (2010) - This movie is a joke. At first it's interesting, then it's boring and then it's just funny/pathetic. And they put it in a "horror" genre. Words are not sufficient. Nosferatu is turning in his grave. 3/10
