Help me with a gift

Hi!

A man have sent me a copy of Don't Starve via gift on Steam but when I try to redeem it from the email, Steam says that something wrong it's happened and the gift is already used. What can I do?

Check if you have it in your library. It should be there already.

I don't know. I wasn't even looking. It's just that I used to get messages like those when activating gifts and despite them the gifts activated. But it was like two years ago so...

I think you can see it in someone's recently played list but not their library since it is still in beta.
