As someone who picked up the final season on Steam at full price just before it was removed... this is awesome! :)

I'm only missing The Walking Dead: The Final Season but not gonna pay that price. In my currency it cost more than twice the price asked for the other titles. And I doubt it will get a discount on the supposed lunar sale that might start tomorrow.

Does this mean I can finally play Walking Dead Season 1 again without it crashing upon start-up?

I was under the impression this issue was related to Telltale pulling their games off the Steam store, as I wasn't able to play these games sometime after they executed their decision. I could be wrong, but yeah.

Hmm, I have installed the first season as I wanted to upload my saves to the second one which I have played few months back and I have not experienced any problems, both runned smoothly.

I'll have to troubleshoot again, looks like. Thanks.

This is owned by Skybound, aside from the fact they developed it Telltale no longer have anything to do with it.

Hope they get a good game out of it, though.

I got first season way back, when it was free I think. I played through it, got hooked. Bought the DLC story too. Then, managed to grab season 2 on sale just before the big announcement that we all know. I'm quite happy I can finally complete my collection, during a sale of course. I know it has been on epic, but I don't roll like that, so here we go :P

Also, can anyone confirm? TWD: A New Frontier is not avaliable for purchase for me. (I am in Australia, so it may just be that no price has been set for the AU store. Can anyone in any other contries confirm whether they are able to purchase it or not?)

I see. It's available in the SEA region, will probably expand to include other regions soon enough.

The store page is available but it doesn't have a price set in any region so can't currently be bought anywhere.

Define "they". The rights to The Walking Dead games went to Skybound, (new) Telltale no longer have anything to do with these games and Skybound have nothing to do with any of the other Telltale series.

Didn't want those games on EGS even for 5$, so I'm gonna buy them on Steam anyway!

Michonne isn't season 3. The story has nothing to do with the other games.

Odds are Skybound and Epic came to some sort of agreement. Honestly, it was expected, though definitely not guaranteed. But considering Skybound's actions over protecting their IP's image and their properties, they tend to be quite active.

And I was waiting for the walking dead season 1 cards to get more expensive on community market :v
anyway I am glad they are back so I would be able to play 400 dlc the only piece of this artifact that I haven't played yet

Anyone else getting an error when trying to open the Steam pages for Season 3 (A New Frontier) or The Final Season?

Sorry, but you're not permitted to view these materials at this time.

If you are from Australia (or have Store Country set to Australia), then there is no price set for Season 2 and New Frontier

No idea about Final Season, though

Turns out I can open the game pages just fine from Steam itself, but not from the web interface - seems like there's an issue with that rather than the client or my profile

It's waaaay cheaper on Steam for me. One of the many reasons I don't buy games on Epic.

HA HA! This is GREAT! F EPIC! And also all those traders who wanted epic huge trades for their season 1 keys. Bwahahaha! I knew they would be back. It's a massively popular game. Even if the company ran it's self into the ground. No way I am giving them Spyro, Crash and Call of Duty WWII for that.

Perfect timing with the lunar new year sale as well. They are on sale and will get me tokens for the lunar badge. Win Win! :D

Season 1 never had any real value as it was bundled/cheap numerous times. Gift copies would have been a different matter but then they always have been.

I don't doubt they were but they were never likely to get what they were asking. The casual collectors would be put off by the prices and the serious ones either already had it knew better. Mafia and Wolfenstein (2009) were so insanely expensive due to their rarity and sitting on copies of those until a serious buyer came along is/was feasible. The Walking Dead probably wouldn't have gotten to that point for quite some time and realistically as soon as the license transferred to Skybound there return to Steam was always a when not an if.
