cannot join giveaway for SPAZ?

To start off I'm relatively new to SG and steam in general. I did make my account in 2010 but only recently started using it to buy games.

With that being said I'm not sure if it is just me but when i try to enter any of the SPAZ giveaways it says the game already exists on my account, yet I don't own it. is this just a misunderstanding or some sort of bug?

There was a free weekend, and your account must have auto synced while it was running.
