Yo,

I just opened my Twitch-Launcher and... damn, I got atleast 150, most indie, games and I've never touched one of them.
So I checked my Epic-Launcher... and there I have like 20, pretty good looking, games.

That's why I wonder, did any of you ever started one of these games?

Have a good day.

Do you play the free games?

Yeah, but only the one from Twitch.
Yeah, but only the one from Epic.
Yeah, from both.

I just heard that there is a Twitch Launcher.

I don't use those launchers. About Epic: I already have most of their free baits on my Steam account.

I've just been sticking with kongregate, newgrounds and armorgames free games since decades =P

I tried a few of them. Like Surviving Mars and Celeste. Surviving Mars felt kinda complicated to continue right now and I will play Celeste in another time so yeah i played some.

No but I'm glad some devs get a few bucks when I grab them for free. It's the Fortnite contribution to the indie scene.

I don't mind installing a new client for a free AA game and both plattforms keep giving away interesting stuff on a regular basis.

I play more free games than steam games. Xbox pass should be on the poll as alot of people have that free or near $1 as ive completely ignored my steam library since.

Didn't know about Twitch launcher. Is there more info about those 150 games? are they always F2P or did they gave them away like EPIC?

I think he's talking about the games that you get for free each month if you have Twitch/Amazon Prime :)
If you claim them, they are yours to keep forever :)

Edit: Here is the link to the topic on SG:

I see. I never used Twitch or Amazon services, but I got from lootboy a "Stream Amazon Music HD" card which I was planning to give away in the lootboy topic. That service is unrelated to Amazon Prime and won't allow me access to monthly games, right?

Yeah it's not related as far as I know.
Also the card you got from lootboy is just a shady trick so that you use their referal link :/
It's completely worthless because everyone can get it directly on amazon anyway::

"Also the card you got from lootboy is just a shady trick so that you use their referal link :/"

Which I didn't because I don't care about it. But thanks for the heads up on both topics. I'll just shred the card. Thanks for the answers and have a nice weekend.

Oooo... thanks for that clarification; I was about to waste a lot of time and effort on this, because I didn't realize that you needed an Amazon Prime account; my Amazon account is only Basic Bro.

I've played one on my epic games launcher a bunch.
Now HOLD ON A MINUTE everyone. Before you proceed to assemble a kill squad for daring to use epic let me explain this unholy blasphemous activity
It's subnautica
And only because it was free.
You'll forgive me right? For Subnautica? I'd play it on steam if I had it there, I promise!

No, and I never will.
I'd rather buy them on Steam than getting them for free anywhere else.
I try to avoid as much as I can mediocrity (aka epic games launcher).

At this point Epic beats Twitch since its completely free...its a hassle subbing and then canceling once I get the free Twitch games I'm never gonna play. At this rate I might just stop buying games altogether.

99% I already own on Steam, but I'm scooping them up since they're free.

I've tried games from both, but I default to Steam since the games I care about the most are there.

I get the free epic games added to my epic account because I want to have the option to play the games one day...but realistically I won't be playing them. I have too much of a gog and steam backlog.

I played (and finished) Heave Ho, Pikuniku, Qube 2 and The Messenger on Twitch Launcher (also played some other games that I'll finish later).

On Epic I played (and finished) Axiom Verge, Hyper Light Drifter and Moonlighter.

Next (free) game from these platforms that I want to finish is Kentucky Route Zero (was free on twitch and got the full version last week).
