Odd Gifting

I have sent a gift to one of the winners and they have given me rep for receiving their gift. However my inventory says that it is still pending. They seem to not be online and I'm not really sure what to do. I will give it a week and hope it fixes itself while also keeping an eye out for them, which is difficult since the winner is not on my friend's list (hopefully should we connect there isn't a language barrier to overcome). After a week should I just keep holding on to the game? Seems like a waste, especially since they have been around having acknowledged receipt of their winnings. I really want someone to want the game I put out as a contest.
