Just got two very interesting games from a trade (CS:GO, while i like the CS series, i'm also aware that the game will go on an open beta shortly, and since people are actually trading for it....).

These games are Assassins Creed Revelations, and Total War: Shogun 2 - Fall of the Samurai.

One thing i gotta ask though is: Is the AC:R multiplayer still worth it? or is it something that will die soon? (if not dead already), i already had the chance to play the singleplayer on a friends xbox, while i liked it, i feel the story is now taking too many turns. BUT if the multiplayer is still going on, i might just activate it and start playing, on the contrary i might gift it here (trying to give back to those groups i feel are actually worth the effort)

Second question is somewhat....difficult to answer i think: any idea if this Shogun 2 standalone expansion is enough for me to pick up the basics and all?, i've had the chance to play some old Total War games, and was always fascinated by them, thing is i sucked at them, hard (i was young and stupid, now i'm just stupid), i know this game hasnt come out yet, but maybe someone who has a good idea on how the game works can have an idea on what to expect for this, and how the difficulty curve would hit me (yeah i'm an old gamer i'm used to "getting ready" to play a game, not just grab BF3 and expect to have a BFG in my hands).

Any help on this is appreciated :).

To be honest, I don't think the AC:R would be that fun. I had brotherhood and frankly I just stopped playing it. Trade it for something you'll play, and even play with your friends too

well as far as Total war goes, well you can always play single player and get the hang of it there but to be honest as far getting good, the only way is to start playing multiplayer matches. Losing isnt a big deal, just play and have fun; you'll get better with time. As far as total war goes, if you really like it then i really suggest Rome total war, its older but many consider to be the best. You could also watch people play on youtube. Like i watch the Prince of Macedon . As far as AC:R, my friend has a lot of fun with the multiplayer but that is on the consoles, i wouldnt know about the PC
