Solving jigsaws make you better at solving jigsaws xD That's probably valid with any other activity.

That reminded me about some other games:
Asphyxia, Cinders - Visual novels - I liked both - sprites and backgrounds.
Abzu - fish looks amazing xD
Tulpa, Woolfe, Contrast, Brothers - tale of two sons - platformers with great art style. Although Woolfe and Contrast have some irritating moments because of controls or annoying camera (but maybe they fixed it idk),
Neon Chrome, Hatred - twin stick shoters. Neon chrome will take you to vhs era.
Hatred though.. It's infamous for a reason. Gameplay is really brutal but well done. And it looks like the sims and sin city crosover: black and white and red and fire.
