So...planning to grab a key on Kinguin....but im always pretty sceptical and cautious about 3rd-Party reseller of stuff. Especially on the Interwebs. Dunno, never got ripped off so far - but you know....you hear storys.

So im pretty much exited and looking forward to join my mates on Sea of Thieves, and since it has a pretty decent pricetag, maybe i can safe some bucks when buing it on Kinguin - but is it a good idea tho?! Let me know! :)

P.S:
Have some cheap GAs for your trouble ;)

Ever had a problem with Kinguin?

Na - never.
Yes - occured to me.

Pretty much the same like G2A. Meaning ok for cheap stuff. Might be risky for AAA stuff and new releases.

2 of 5 purchases I got the wrong key from the seller (one was similar but different game, one was Russia locked), but I did receive a refund both times after several days of back and forth with the support. I did not purchase the protection on any of them.

It's fine, if the key doesn't work take screenshots and send them to support.
Use a credit card, if they don't refund you.. make your credit card company refund you.

A game bought in Kinguin was erased from my account about a week later. It was probably bought with a stolen credit card.

Support didn't care

I use the other one for cheap bundle games I missed and so far I got 1 duplicate keys out of like 10 purchases.
You need to check how legit the reseller is, but you shouldn't risk it with a new and expensive game to be honest.

1st order was in early 2013.
5 years and 50 games after, not a single issue.

Most of the people commenting here are only the ones who faced problems. These websites are 99% trusted, I have over 300 order over G2A (not KINGUIN!) including pre-orders and high value games out of which only 2 keys were duplicate which were refunded/replaced within a couple of days. So just go for it.

Again, it's G2A, not Kinguin

Got my GTA V, Motorsports Manager, CIV: Beyond Earth and expansions keys from there and anything else I've bought is valid.

I bought a Star Wars Battlefront 2 Preorder for 45 euro. Worked fine and the key arrived like 30 minutes after they released the game on Origin.

I have never bought anything from Kinguin, but I did buy quite a few key from different grey market sites and I never had a problem. One time, I got a used key, but they replaced it quickly, in a day or so.

I'd prefer them over G2A due to less shady methods. Prerequisite is to use a payment method where you can get help if something goes wrong, e.g. PayPal or CC.
