For sure puzzles are worth creating. I had a lot of fun with the ones I created, and liked the response to them. Trying to solve other people's puzzles on the other hand was mostly frustrating. I just suck at that.

That also answers the question. If you like solving puzzles yes, if not better stay away from them. If the creator puts something behind a puzzle that's only a bonus.

Puzzles are always worth doing! Often better than the giveaway or train that follows. I don't know about this train yet (I haven't looked at it), but I enjoyed the puzzle...s.
Edit: I have now looked at the train. So worth it! You've got some great giveaways in there.

Have a bump. Puzzles are always fun themself, and rewarding them with some GAs is a nice touch as well. And completly awesome when such a nice train connects ;)

I like doing puzzles, usually, so I approve of them. If I see one here that's interesting enough, I'll sometimes do it even if I know I won't enter for the prize at the end. But there are also puzzles which are too obnoxious that I don't even bother with even if the prize is on my wishlist. My biggest tip for ITH puzzles: A) Make sure your answers can't be interpreted any other way, playing a guessing game sucks. B) Make sure everything is spelled correctly! C) Where applicable, if there is a "standard" form for the answer please, PLEASE use that.

You did pretty great! Some people had "A" issues with one question, from the comments, but the hint made it pretty clear to me. "B", you had no spelling issues in the answers whatsoever. "C" is mostly only an issue when the answers involve titles for things (like games). "I know they're talking about Skyrim with this question, but do I write 'Skyrim', 'Elder Scrolls: Skyrim', 'Elder Scrolls V', 'Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim', or 'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim'?"

Yes, if you are wondering I have a nice long train hidden behind them, the train will be on the rails for ten days.Train ended, thanks everybody that answered my questions and the feedback on my puzzles. I think when I make more puzzles in the future I'll try to keep them at this level.
